Structured Finance & Lending
Specialized Asset Finance Advisory
Financing arranged against aircraft, art, and other specialized assets.
Significant wealth is often held in assets that do not sit neatly in a portfolio: an aircraft, a fine art collection, a stake in a private company, a music catalogue. Specialized asset finance uses the value of those assets as collateral, allowing clients to raise capital at short notice without selling what they own. Zentrix Global advises on the right structure and arranges each facility through our network of regulated partner lenders.
What is asset finance?
Asset finance means borrowing against the current value of assets a client already owns, rather than going through the lengthy analysis that traditional financing usually requires. It can fund a new investment, bridge a temporary shortfall, or provide working capital until other assets can be realized.
It differs from asset-based financing, where a new asset is acquired with a deposit and paid off over time. Asset finance raises funding from what is already owned, while asset-based financing is a way to buy something new.
Why consider it?
Versatility
Capital can be raised quickly for projects of varying size, without being tied to a fixed loan amount.
Short term flexibility
Short term needs can be covered without disrupting wider finances, allowing time to arrange longer term funding.
Limited effect on cash flow
Borrowing against what is owned, rather than drawing on cash, keeps the effect on day to day cash flow to a minimum.
Room for opportunity
Unforeseen opportunities can be pursued without changing established growth plans.
Assets we work with

A diversified hedge fund portfolio can serve as eligible collateral for financing.

Risk Warning
Risks of secured and structured lending
Leverage magnifies both the potential benefits and the potential losses associated with an asset.
- Interest Rate Risk: Interest remains payable on the loan balance regardless of whether income from the pledged asset is sufficient to cover it.
- Repayment Risk: The loan remains repayable in full even if the value of the pledged asset is insufficient, and any shortfall may need to be met from other resources.
- Collateral Risk: Where minimum collateral values apply, additional collateral may be required, or the loan may need to be repaid, if the collateral's value decreases beyond specified levels.
- Valuation Risk: The value of the pledged asset may fall, and the amount of interest payable may increase.
- Asset Risk: Where a loan is secured against an aircraft, yacht, artwork, or other asset, failure to keep up repayments may result in the asset being repossessed.
The risk factors listed above are not exhaustive. Always ask for the product specific documentation for full details and risk disclosures.
